Greenfield District lights up Mandaluyong for Christmas

In an interview, Greenfield executive vice president and general manager Atty. Duane A.X. Santos explained why the district-wide-yuletide merry-making is valued by the company.

“The season of Christmas is the season for giving back. We thank the people who have been very supportive of Greenfield and we want to show them our appreciation through our simple yet engaging event,” Santos said.

The program, which is in its fifth year, highlighted the lighting of a 55-foot Christmas tree, food stalls that showcased Filipino, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines, photographs with a live Santa Claus, and enchanting performances from the Centro Escolar University (CEU) Singers Manila and the Brass Munkeys.

A fireworks display also captured the hearts of the public after the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

The company is encouraging everyone to drop by at the Greenfield District. “This is Greenfield’s annual tradition for the Filipino people. Everyone is welcome, everyone can join the festivities,” Santos concluded.
