Filipinos are known for many fun and great things. But one standout is how much we cherish our holiday traditions, especially Christmas.
We didn’t receive this distinction overnight. Year after year, no matter what the circumstance, we see reasons to hope and smile. We also unleash our festive and creative spirits to celebrate the world’s brightest and jolliest Yuletide season in every way we know.
Though we are covered by masks and face shields, the glow from our eyes and simple gestures of love and gratitude are vibrant enough to send to our fellow Filipinos a warm “Merry Christmas” greeting.
And this is exactly what Maja Salvador and the G-Force want to show us in Robinson’s new musical-inspired Christmas video directed by internationally acclaimed director Mike Carandang.
Here, our Christmas tradition of going to the mall to reunite with friends, bond with the family, or buy gifts and noche buena items is still very much alive and fun — only now it’s done from a safe distance with health protocols.
“Our musical-inspired Christmas video reminds us to celebrate and find moments of joy amid the pandemic, especially during the holiday season,” says Robinsons Land Corp. marketing director Kath Chong.
“We are excited to share that we are launching our Christmas video later, featuring our brand ambassador, Maja Salvador. The video was directed by none other than Emmy-award winner Mike Carandang, who also directed the H&M video of Maja and Nadine this year,” she adds.
“This is a first for Robinsons Malls — to have a musical-inspired Christmas video, where people are seen celebrating while practicing safety protocols.”
Alongside its newest surprise for mall-goers, Robinsons Malls keeps the holiday spirit alive with various activities and promos such as Joyful Surprise, RGift Of Joy: E-Raffle from November 15 to January 31, and Smiles of Christmas from November 20 to December 3.
