RLC Residences garners multiple awards; Lance Y. Gokongwei named Property Man of the Year

RLC Residences continues its winning streak in 2024 as the year remains a remarkable year for the company, receiving numerous accolades from both local and international award-giving bodies. A significant highlight is the recognition of Robinsons Land Corporation’s Chairman, President, and CEO Lance Y. Gokongwei as Property Man of the Year.

At the International Property Awards (IPA) in Bangkok, Thailand on May 31, RLC Residences’ pre-selling developments were honored as country winners in the Asia Pacific region. Mantawi Residences in Mandaue City, Cebu, won in the Apartment/Condominium Development Category, noted for its premium offerings, strategic location, and extensive facilities; as Le Pont Residences in Bridgetowne East, Pasig City earned the Residential High-Rise Development citation and a coveted five-star rating, recognized for its spacious units, exceptional multi-floor amenities, and a prime location within a master-planned destination estate.

The Real Estate Asia Awards, a distinguished program honoring real estate projects and companies across Asia, also named RLC Residences as the Philippines’ Developer of the Year. This recognition underscores the developer’s commitment to creating well-designed homes tailored to the needs and lifestyles of home seekers.

RLC Residences Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager Chad Sotelo expressed her gratitude for the recognition, attributing the success to the team’s dedication and clients’ valuable insights. “We are honored to be recognized by prestigious organizations such as the International Property Awards and the Real Estate Asia Awards. This success is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the team at RLC Residences, who strive to provide home buyers with exceptional investment options. We also extend our gratitude to our clients, whose insights have been instrumental in guiding the design and features of our developments. These recognitions are owed to you,” shared Chad.

In the Philippines, two RLC Residences projects were honored at the recently held FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards on June 4 at The Manila Hotel, led by industry veterans and experts as judges. The Radiance Manila Bay, a two-tower development along Roxas Boulevard, was awarded Gold in the Mixed-use Development category. Galleria Residences in Cebu also won Gold in the Residential High-Rise category, recognized for its three-building property within the Robinsons Galleria Cebu mixed-use complex.

At the same event, Robinsons Land Corporation’s Chairman, President, and CEO Lance Y. Gokongwei was chosen as the Prix D’Excellence Property Man of the Year. This award acknowledges his strategic leadership and significant contributions to RLC’s continued success. RLC Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President – Business Unit General Manager of RLC Residences Chad Sotelo accepted the trophy on his behalf.

“On behalf of Mr. Lance, thank you for choosing him as the Property Man of the Year. When he was just the CEO of JG Summit, Mr. Lance would always remind us of the purpose of JG Summit, which is the unrelenting commitment to create better choices for our customers—creating shared success for all our stakeholders. When he joined us as CEO of Robinsons Land, he made sure that every business unit brought this purpose to life. He has been our CEO in Robinsons Land for less than a year and the impact he’s already made is outstanding—building on the success of previous CEO Frederick Go,” shared Chad Sotelo.
