CW Home Depot officially opens 8th branch in Taytay, Rizal

CW Home Depot, known for its wide array of quality building, finishing, and furnishing materials, officially opened its Taytay branch on April 18, 2024. The 22,000 sqm store sports a three-floor modernistic design that is divided into four sections (builders, appliance, interior, and specialty). Being located at the Manila-East road, Barangay Dolores, the newest branch caters not only to the growing demands of quality construction materials in Taytay, but also to other neighboring areas in Rizal and the Metro. 

This is the eighth branch of the renowned retail brand, with the other seven branches located in Alabang, Balintawak, Cavite, Commonwealth, Laguna, Ortigas, and Pampanga.

The opening celebration was festive, with a marching band and dragon performances welcoming the guests. After a mass, Engr. Napoleon G. Co, president of CW Home Depot, led the ribbon-cutting ceremonies marking the official opening of CW Home Depot in Taytay.

Following the ceremonies, attendees proceeded to the opening program, with Kenneth T. Tung, general manager of CW Home Depot, welcoming everyone to the joyful event.

A newfound convenience

Nina Ricci Ynares, governor of Rizal, proceeded to talk about the benefits of having a retail store like CW Home Depot in Taytay, especially with people’s growing interest in the province.

“I’d like to thank you for opening CW Home Depot here in Rizal. Your opening is a symbol of how our province is progressing as we cope up with the demands of everybody rediscovering Rizal,” she exclaimed during her speech.

She proceeded to talk about the growing number of people moving to Rizal, whether residential-wise or business-wise, and the struggles to transport building materials from the metro to the province, especially with heavy traffic issues.

“I think CW Home Depot’s opening is a signal na talagang come in, welcome to Rizal, nandito na rin ang CW Home Depot to make building your businesses and your homes more convenient, easier,” she added.

Allan Martine De Leon, mayor of Taytay, also gave his message of thanks during the program. He highlighted how the retail business will aid in the employment of their constituents and the transport of materials in their province.

“We are hoping na talagang this is a very good sign of growth, at nawa po ay matamasa ng bawat isang taga-Taytay at taga-Rizal ang inyong idinalang hanapbuhay sa aming bayan ng Taytay,” he exclaimed.

A brand trusted by professionals

With almost 21 years of service in the home improvement sector, CW Home Depot has cemented its spot in the industries of architecture, engineering, and construction.

First, Archt. Richard M. Garcia, Incumbent National President of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), greeted the guests through a video as he was not able to attend the opening that coincided with UAP’s national convention.

Archt. Maria Josefina Bautista-Alfonso, Immediate Past President of the Philippine Institute of Architects (PIA), followed suit as she also delivered a message.

Engr. Ronaldo Elepaño, Jr., President of the Philippine Constructors Association, also delivered a message following the opening of CW Home Depot Taytay.

Continuing a legacy of quality service

Lastly, Ferdinand G. Co, Managing Director of CW Home Depot, delivered his closing message. During his speech, he highlighted the reasons why CW Home Depot has achieved its current endeavors.

He first talked about how a good place Taytay is for the brand, providing convenience to the residents of Taytay as they need not face the heavy-traffic conditions to shop for their building, furnishing, and finishing needs. He also shared that as a brand, they strive with their competitive pricing and their quality service and promos for their shoppers. He also underscored their products, sharing that they have around 40-50 thousand SKUs under their belt, leading them to proudly showcase their “All Under One Roof” branding.

Lastly, Co also shared the importance of having the right people for their success, “It’s the people behind the scenes [that make sure] that we can provide the best service, and that we can provide the best products and the best location,” he exclaimed.

After which, a celebratory toast was done, ending the program with hopes of success and a brighter future ahead as CW Home Depot makes another huge milestone.
