The road to 100: Wilcon Depot marks milestone with new branches

How do we define a success story?

Working with Wilcon Depot for 36 years now has been a truly gratifying experience for me as I witnessed it grow and thrive in different locations across the Philippines.

From its humble beginnings in 1977, the company started its journey and has since become a household name in the construction industry.

There are a lot of versions of success, but for Wilcon Depot, the Philippines’ leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, success is marked not only by its steady growth and profitability but also by its ability to continuously expand its reach and serve the needs of more customers across the country.

It’s just one of the many reasons why I’m glad to be part of the Wilcon Depot team. The continuing success of this story is due to our continuous commitment to offering high-quality materials, exceptional customer service, and innovative solutions for all construction and home improvement needs.

This year, 2023, Wilcon Depot reached a new milestone after launching two branches in different regions. One is located in Iligan City, which was launched on Sept. 29, 2023 and which marked our entry into the province.

The other branch is in Naic, Cavite, launched on Oct. 6, making it our seventh store in the province.

The recently opened stores in Iligan City and Naic cemented Wilcon’s commitment to serving more Filipinos by providing quality products and excellent customer service. The opening of these two branches is a testament to our commitment to serving our customers in every corner of the country.

The municipality of Iligan City is particularly remarkable for us, as it is the first Wilcon Depot store in the province. This signifies our commitment to expanding our reach and bringing our extensive range of products to even more customers.

The other branch in Naic is equally exciting as it marks our seventh store in the province. Wilcon Depot aims to address this need by offering a diverse range of construction-related items and services to consumers in these two branches.

Both Iligan City and Naic, Cavite, have been carefully selected as locations for Wilcon Depot’s newest branches due to their strategic locations and potential for growth. These sites align with our company’s expansion strategy, which focuses on providing accessibility to customers in both urban and developing areas.

It has been our mission not only to meet but exceed the expectations of our customers, and these two new branches are a testament to that commitment. Now that Wilcon Depot has reached a total of 88 stores nationwide, we are proud to be able to serve more communities and contribute to the development of the construction industry in the Philippines. We are now halfway through our #FlyingHighTo100 store expansion campaign, wherein the company aims to have 100 operating stores nationwide by 2025, barring any unexpected external factors.

Growing our store network not only allows us to bring our products closer to customers but it also creates new job opportunities for the local communities and contributes to the overall economic growth of the respective regions.

It makes me proud to work for a company that not only prioritizes customer service but also actively participates in the development and prosperity of the community in which it operates.
