Gaisano-led Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) is set to open its first small-format store in Pearl Plaza, Lancaster New City in Barangay Navarro, General Trias, Cavite on August 22.
The Metro Value Mart Lancaster is well positioned to give General Trias communities employment opportunities and convenient access to affordable goods and groceries. The new store will be employing approximately—individuals.
Named after the revolutionary hero and noted writer General Mariano Trias, the city is also the home of Katipunan founder Andres Bonifacio when he stayed in Cavite. It has 33 barangays with a population of 450,583 as of 2020 Census. It is famed for its well-preserved Spanish colonial homes and churches.
The Metro Value Mart is ready to serve the needs of the residents especially those in the 15 barangays near Lancaster. The new store boasts a wide array of international and local goods, general merchandise, home care, health and beauty, frozen and fresh products in its 1000 sqm. shopping space.

The new store is the 3rd Metro store in the province of Cavite, the 62nd store nationwide and will open to the public after the ribbon-cutting ceremonies at 9 a.m. on August 22.
Opening Promos
Aside from more grocery choices and every day savings, Metro Value Mart will be having a lot of promos and will be giving loads of treats to shoppers as part of its opening celebration.
First off, Metro will be giving free membership to its MRC and MBC loyalty rewards program so shoppers can score more of the amazing treats. Once registered, shoppers will be given a Loyalty Card that will allow them to earn points, enjoy exclusive privileges, and receive gifts with their purchase. Points earned can be used to pay for purchases or redeem a giveaway.
On August 22 to September 20, MRC and MBC cardholders with a minimum, single-receipt purchase worth P1,000 are entitled to a gift of their choice: 1kg rice,1Savers Select Dishwashing Liquid, or 1.5 Coke, Royal or Sprite.
There will also be Bundle Deals, Buy One Take One, Price Off, and Piso Deal offers. For the Piso Deal, shoppers who can present a P2K single-receipt worth of purchase on all Fresh and Frozen products are entitled to buy 2 pieces Chicken Leg Quarter for only P1!
