Shang Properties takes exceptional life spaces to next level

Known for making a mark in the realm of luxury and opulence, Shang Properties is ready to take exceptional life spaces to the next level after announcing a rebranding that reflects its commitment to meeting the demands of an evolving property landscape.

The listed property developer made the official announcement last Tuesday, June 20, at the Canton Road restaurant of Shangri-La The Fort, Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

A new logo and upcoming property developments kicked off the exciting rebrand that will underscore Shang Properties’ position as a leading developer in luxury properties.

Adapting to changing times

Jose Juan Jugo, executive vice president of Shang Properties, said the company has always been top notch in providing a luxurious quality of life to its residents for more than 30 years now.

“Each property pays attention to every painstaking detail because it believes that being intentional with each element—whether big or small—makes all the difference,” he said. “But so many things have changed since we opened our first property in 1987. Demands have changed and our residents have shifted priorities. In order to keep up, we have to adapt and innovate.”

Thus, the rebrand hopes to establish Shang Properties as a leading brand in the real estate market and to be the Philippines’ most preferred premium residential developer.

The rebrand, which signifies Shang Properties’ leap forward in the value proposition of the company and brand, aims to make every development shine on its own with four specific details in mind: thoughtful design, exquisite taste, being uniquely personal, and having privacy & security.

These details, which will be brought along to the new phase of Shang Properties, are evidently seen in the new logo, a symbol of their new chapter in the real estate market.

“This streamlined logo pays homage to our previous logo and uses elements and colors that have strong ties to Shang Properties and its DNA,” said Jayme Uy, marketing director of Shang Properties. “The text has been updated to reflect a subtle tone of modern luxury and sophistication. This reflects the kind of lifestyle that our residents deserve and enjoy.”

The property developer also maintained the crane, which has been synonymous with the brand, but has been simplified to reflect a clean and streamlined look.

A place for self-expression

Adding to Shang Properties’ newest chapter is the construction of Laya by Shang Properties, the developer’s newest condominium conveniently located alongside Christian Route in Pasig City.

“It is near everything residents need, giving them a seamless connection between work, play, and rest near lifestyle destinations such as shopping malls, restaurants, and open spaces for families to enjoy,” said Rose Morales, senior director and head of group sales at Shang Properties. “At Laya, the whole neighborhood is just around the corner. That’s the dream, right?”

Housing 1,283 units ranging from studio to three-bedroom units, Laya is described as a “canvas for self-expression” where its residents have the freedom to design its modern spaces to a home they can call their own.

The 67-floor residential property will also cater to the different needs and lifestyles of young professionals and families, their target market for the development, by having function rooms, a quiet library and workspace, a fully-equipped fitness studio, a children’s playroom and gameroom, and viewing room for movie nights.

Joseph Brimmer, sales director for broker channels at Shang Properties, said unit prices for Laya will range from P10 million for a studio unit to P40 million for a three-bedroom unit.

Laya will have its soft launch in July, with a showroom set to open at Shangri-La Plaza by September. The condominium development, which is Shang Properties’ eight fully-owned residential property, is set for completion in July 2028.
