Crown Pipes to be part of Metro Manila Subway

Crown Asia Chemicals Corp.’s CROWN Pipes will be used for the landmark Metro Manila Subway, the first underground railway in the Philippines.

The 33-kilometer Metro Manila Subway line will run from Valenzuela City up to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), across seventeen stations that are strategically located from East Valenzuela to NAIA Terminal 3.

It will allow passengers to optimally connect to other mass transport lines such as LRT, MRT, bus terminals and the National Railway System.

The P357-billion Metro Manila Subway is expected to be operational in 2027 and can accommodate more than 370,000 passengers daily.

CROWN Pipes to be used in the Metro Manila Subway had been rigorously tested by the Department of Transportation.

Manufactured by listed Crown Asia Chemicals Corp., CROWN Pipes are also part of the North Railway Commuter System (NRCS), Skyway-3, MRT-7, TPLEX, CALAX, Wawa Water Resources, NAIA Expressways and other infrastructure projects.

CROWN Pipes are likewise used by major private developers of commercial, industrial, residential, institutional and energy projects.

Crown Asia has been awarded by Forbes Asia as one of the 200 Best Under A Billion for two consecutive years now, and by Financial Times of London as one of the Top 1000 High Growth Companies in 2018.
