This December 15, World Bazaar Festival kicks off at Vertis North open grounds with a grand opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Pheomela Baranda. The opening ceremony was graced by the following personalities, namely: Hon. Bernadette Romulo Puyat (Secretary, Department of Tourism), Hon. Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. (Chairman, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority), Hon. Joy Belmonte (Mayor, Quezon City) Hon. Victor Ferrer Jr. (Councilor, 1st District Quezon City), Brgy Captain Rey Palma (Brgy Pag-Asa, Quezon City), Ms. Chrissy Roa (Marketing and Communications Head, Ayala Land), John Estacio (AVP, Ayala Land) Mr.Generoso Dungo, (Assistant General Manager, Laguna Lake Development Authority). World Bazaar Festival’s on-ground opening signals the return of Christmas festivities.
The opening ceremony program also featured performers from Center for Pop Music and the Calista Group who have showcased their talent. Its main highlight was the tree lighting ceremony with fanfare and a special performance of the Christmas icon, Mr. Jose Mari Chan.
This year’s World Bazaar Festival spreads a message of hope and positivity. With many vendors and great finds in the bazaar, visitors will really have a fun time checking out the different products from a variety of vendors.
The event will also have different activities such as DJ night and Cooking Demo, amongst others, that will surely continue the fun. World Bazaar Festival really provides a much-needed positivity this Christmas season after a year full of challenges.
World Bazaar Festival will be open until December 20 from 3:00pm-10:00pm. Visitors can still experience the different festivities and celebrations in the following days.
