SOMO Market: Outdoor shopping is ‘in’

The pandemic has made everyone appreciate weekend markets more than ever. Not only do they offer fresh produce and unique finds, they’re a breath of fresh air, literally.

SOMO Market is one of them. With a vast area of 3,000 sqm for outdoor shopping, this weekend market showcases over a hundred merchants. Visitors will find a wide array of products, ranging from fresh produce, seafoods, meats, and organic products, to plants, Taytay apparels, toys, and a whole lot more.

It boasts of the freshest produce coming from farmers in Baguio, Mindoro and Davao, to name a few—and shoppers can buy in bulk to avail of wholesale prices. SOMO Market supports farmers, local cooperatives and small businesses selling various items.

Foodies can also expect a delightful dining experience, from favorite local street food to international dishes.

There’s also a Trunk Sale area, where sellers can offer pre-loved and brand-new items, making that weekend trade fun and exciting.

SOMO Market is open on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
