DMCI Homes eyes property near College of St. Benilde to pilot new condo format

Aside from developing quality condominium communities designed for end-users and young families, Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes is now eyeing to build homes that are fit for mobile and experience-oriented lifestyle under a new product format.

Unlike previous DMCI Homes projects built with end-users in mind, the new product segment dubbed as DMCI Homes Ascend aims to offer right-sized homes near university towns and business centers with commercial areas, co-working spaces, and convenient indoor amenities and facilities.

“With DMCI Homes Ascend, we hope to provide quality living spaces that better fit the needs of young working professionals and students, especially with the evolving lifestyle brought about by the pandemic,” DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria said.

To test the market, Austria said the company is looking to utilize its property near College of St. Benilde and De La Salle University in Malate, Manila.

Conveniently located in the middle of prestigious learning institutions and business centers, the property was deemed fit to be the pilot location of the new product format as the area is a converging point of both students and young professionals working around Manila, Pasay, and Makati area.

Austria said the company is looking to offer a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units in a project slated for launch before yearend.

“Our clients can be assured that DMCI Homes Ascend will carry the same brand DMCI Homes is known for — quality workmanship and value-for-money homes,” he said.

DMCI Homes Ascend is the second sub-brand created by DMCI Homes after DMCI Homes Exclusive, launched in 2016 when the company ventured into the luxury market via Oak Harbor Residences in Parañaque City.

DMCI Homes Ascend is a new brand from Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes. Designed and built for mobile, value-conscious, and experience-oriented professionals and students, each property in the series exudes comfort, convenience, and a sense of security that are much sought after in highly urbanized environments.
