Araneta City gives back to communities with China Acrobatic Circus

The Smart Araneta Coliseum opened its doors to thousands of audiences from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, charities, children with disability, senior citizens and nearby communities to watch the much awaited All-New Grand China Acrobatic Circus.

A day before its debut, The Grand China Acrobatic Circus held a special performance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum giving tributes to Filipino heroes and families. More than a thousand uniformed men spent the day with their families at the Christmas show given by Araneta City.

The show was also enjoyed by a hundred children with disability from PEDYA Camp, more than 200 senior citizens from Brgy. E. Rodriguez Sr. Quezon City and the Little Sisters of the Abandoned, and more than a hundred members of the Orthopedic Society.

The show was opened to more than a thousand families from Brgy. Socorro, Quezon City, Baseco Compound, Channel of Hope, Villa Maria Chapel, Immaculate Concepcion Parish, St. Peter Parish and Saint Martin Parish.

Annually, the Smart Araneta Coliseum opens its doors to the public to witness a special run through performance of the Christmas show. As for this year, spectators were treated with the multi-awarded performances of the China National Acrobatic Troupe entitled “The All-New Grand China Acrobatic Circus.”

One of the acts performed at the special show is the multi-awarded Ninth Wave-Skills on Poles, an interpretation of the famous Russian painter Ivan Aivazovsky’s work depicting soldiers braving the angry ocean. Audiences were also enthralled by the majestic and hypnotizing performance of the Rose Bud Contortionist.

The All-new Grand China Acrobatic Circus runs until tomorrow, Jan. 4, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. For tickets, visit www.ticketnet.com.ph or through the Araneta City Mobile app. Or call 8911-5555.
