Ching Alano likes to say she’s an “old hand at newspapering.” She landed her first job as a reporter straight out of UST Journ School and spent almost three decades on the Lifestyle staff at Philippine Star. She’s covered the whole range of subjects for Star, from dog shows to health and celebrities; and interviews with politicians, three of whom became president.
