Filinvest Innovation Park Earns PEZA Seal, Reinforcing FLI’s Growing Dominance in Industrial Estate Development

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) have officially signed the Registration Agreement (RA) declaring Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba (FIPC) as a PEZA-registered industrial ecozone—further
strengthening FLI’s position as one of the country’s most active and rapidly expanding industrial developers.

The agreement was formalized at the PEZA Head Office by Hon. Tereso O. Panga, PEZA Director General, and Francis V. Ceballos, Business Unit Head for Industrial & Logistics of FLI, with PEZA

MIS and Corporate Planning Group Manager Rowena T. Naguit and FLI’s Mark Lester B. Limbo serving as witnesses.
The accreditation underscores Filinvest Land’s growing leadership in the industrial and logistics estate sector, marking another milestone in the company’s long-term strategy to diversify its nationwide real estate portfolio—from residential and commercial developments to master- planned industrial hubs.

“The registration of Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba marks a significant step in advancing economic development in Laguna. By attracting strategic and high-value industries, it further strengthens PEZA’s roster of world-class and environment-friendly ecozones. We are
proud to partner with Filinvest as we advance the country’s ecozone development program,” said Panga.

With PEZA registration in place, qualified locators at FIPC may now access fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, including income tax holidays or special corporate income tax regimes, duty-free importation of capital equipment, and streamlined import-export procedures.

FIPC’s designation follows Presidential Proclamation No. 1113 by Ferdinand Marcos Jr., officially declaring the 25-hectare site—located in Barangays Bubuyan and Punta in Calamba—as a Special Economic Zone.

Situated in one of the Philippines’ most established manufacturing belts, the park offers direct connectivity to SLEX, CALAX, and key ports; integration within the 350-hectare Ciudad de Calamba township and a master-planned infrastructure designed for manufacturing, logistics,
and high-value industrial operations.

For Filinvest Land, the PEZA accreditation further validates its capability to deliver investment- ready industrial estates tailored to the evolving requirements of multinational and export- oriented companies.

“This milestone strengthens Filinvest’s commitment to enabling industrial growth and supporting global companies looking to expand in Southeast Asia,” said Ceballos. “FIPC is built to provide a secure, stable, and future-ready environment backed by the confidence and governance of a PEZA-certified ecozone.”

As global companies continue to diversify production footprints across Asia, Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba stands out as a strategic location for manufacturers and logistics operators seeking resilient, long-term bases in the Philippines.

Its PEZA certification, combined with Filinvest’s track record in large-scale township and estate development, positions the park as one of the country’s most compelling new industrial destinations.
