Designing the way we live: The Francis Libiran × OUR HOME 2026 collection

The language of fashion and the language of interiors came together on a warm January evening at OUR HOME Megamall last January 27, 2026. Guests gathered to celebrate the launch of the Francis Libiran × OUR HOME 2026 Collection.

Designers, media, and industry guests moved through thoughtfully-styled vignettes of living spaces, each reflecting Libiran’s distinct aesthetic: refined patterns, architectural structure, and quiet elegance translated into furniture and home furnishings.

Building on the success of his debut collaboration with the brand in January 2025, the new collection expands into an even broader range of pieces, from sofas and carpets to bedframes, linens, curtains, and cushions—each designed to bring a sense of couture-inspired living into the modern home.

For Libiran, the collection represents a natural evolution of his design philosophy.

“I’ve always believed that design should not only be seen. It should be lived in,” he said during a conversation at the launch. “Fashion and interiors share the same principles: proportion, balance, texture, and emotion.”

“This collection is about bringing those elements into the home in a way that feels both elevated and comfortable.”

From architecture to interiors

Known internationally for his couture and bridal creations, Libiran began his career as an architect, a foundation that remains evident in his work. Structure and geometry subtly shape many of the pieces in the collection, from sculptural bedframes to patterned textiles inspired by Art Deco motifs.

“I approach every piece the way I would approach a gown or a building,” Libiran explained. “There is always a framework. There is always intention. Even the smallest detail—an embroidery, a seam, a curve—has to contribute to the overall harmony.”

This architectural mindset is evident throughout the collection, where mastery of form translates into furnishings that balance beauty with purpose, designed not only to be admired, but to be lived in.

Designed for real homes

The collection layers signature patterns in rich, tactile textures.

Walking through the event venue during the launch, guests encountered plush carpets rendered in intricate geometric motifs, flowing curtains that softened architectural lines, and upholstery in rich, tactile fabrics.

The overall impression was of spaces designed not just for visual impact, but for everyday living.

“That was very important to me,” Libiran said. “I didn’t want this to feel like a collection that you admire from a distance. I wanted pieces that people could truly use, pieces that become part of daily life, that age well, and that continue to feel relevant over time.”

He added that functionality and emotional comfort were just as important as aesthetics.

Architectural embroidery adds refined comfort to the bedroom.

“I’m very conscious of how people actually live,” Libiran noted. “A home should feel serene. It should feel welcoming. The pieces shouldn’t overpower the space. They should enhance it.”

The collection’s cohesive design language is evident across categories: contemporary sofas with refined detailing, carpets featuring signature patterns in plush textures, flowing curtains with bespoke motifs, and bed linens finished with Libiran-designed embroideries that bring hotel-inspired comfort into the home.

Shared vision with our home

The collaboration also reflects OUR HOME’s long-standing commitment to making design-forward pieces more accessible to Filipino households.

Since 1997, the brand has built a reputation for contemporary furniture, curated selections, and competitive pricing—an approach that aligns naturally with Libiran’s desire to bring thoughtful design to more people.

“With this expanded collection, we continue to bring exclusive designer pieces closer to more homes,” said Roy C. Tan, OUR HOME Business Unit Head and Senior Vice President, during the launch.

“Supported by our valued vendor partners—including Kings Carpet, Salem, Telas de Mercato, and Canadian—we are proud to champion design-forward collections that inspire beautiful, meaningful spaces.”

For Libiran, accessibility was a key motivation behind the partnership.

“Not everyone can experience couture in the traditional sense,” he said. “But design, beauty, and craftsmanship shouldn’t be limited.”

“Through this collaboration, we’re able to translate the spirit of couture into objects that people can bring into their homes.”

Design that lives with you

Guests at the launch lingered well into the evening, moving between displays, photographing favorite pieces, and exchanging impressions. The atmosphere was celebratory yet intimate, reflecting the personal nature of the collection itself.

As the evening drew to a close, Libiran reflected on what he hopes people will feel when they encounter the collection in their own homes.

“I hope they feel a sense of pride,” he said. “Pride in the space they’ve created, pride in the craftsmanship of Filipino design, and most of all, a sense of comfort.”

“Because, at the end of the day, the home is where we return to ourselves.”

Now available in OUR HOME stores nationwide and online, the Francis Libiran × OUR HOME 2026 Collection continues to bridge the worlds of fashion, architecture, and everyday living, proving that thoughtful design, when done well, has the power to transform not just spaces, but the way we experience them.
