From design to destination, Ayala Land Premier’s Anvaya Cove raises the game for Southeast Asian golf
Somewhere in Morong, Bataan, a sanctuary for refined living and purposeful play thrums with life.
Anvaya Cove by Ayala Land Premier (ALP) is a place to be. Here, laughter travels from the fairways to the shoreline, and families find a space to move, connect, and feel at ease.
Among its most celebrated features is the Golf and Sports Club—an 82-hectare, 18-hole championship course designed to challenge beginners and seasoned golfers alike.

On June 27, that vision was recognized on an international level. Anvaya reached a major milestone, earning the title of Southeast Asia’s Best Golf Course from Golf Travel Korea and Golf Travel China.
“Asia has nearly 7,000 golf courses. Only three from the Philippines made it to the top 100 list. The other two were ranked 87 and 94,” explains Jose Dagdagan, general manager of ALP Clubs. “So this award means a lot to us. It places Anvaya as the number one golf course in the Philippines and remarkably, the highest rank in all of the ASEAN region.”

Anvaya placed 15th overall, surpassing regional contenders such as Vietnam’s Hoiana Shores Club and Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club Serapong Course.
A passion for play and sustainability
The Top 100 Golf Course Asia ranking considers six key criteria:
• Shot Value: Strategic clarity and challenge in each shot
• Memorability: Unforgettable holes and standout design moments
• Equitability: Fair play across all skill levels
• Aesthetic Characteristic: Visual impact and harmony with the environment
• Courses Management: Quality of maintenance and play conditions
• Infrastructure and Service: Clubhouse, amenities, and overall guest experience
Anvaya Cove ticks all the boxes, as seen in its ongoing expansion and thoughtful developments.
Joshua de Jesus, project development division manager for Premium Land and Houses of Ayala Land Inc., shares that the team continues to work with golf architect Kevin Ramsey to integrate sustainable solutions that boost both performance and visual appeal.
“It’s a three-year effort,” he says. “We started in 2022 by exploring alternative energy sources, installing solar panels, and switching to a type of grass that uses less water.”
The Anvaya Golf and Sports Club spans 7,200 yards and is rated par 72. It now uses zoysia, a drought-tolerant grass known for withstanding varying weather conditions.
“What sets Anvaya apart is its engineering. Unlike most courses built on grass and soil, it features a sand layer beneath the turf, improving drainage and year-round playability,” adds de Jesus.
Rain or shine, the game goes on. Anvaya stands as a premier destination for golf and leisure by the sea. Overhead, the sunset casts its glow across Subic Bay and the Bataan mountain range—framing the perfect picture of relaxation.
“It wasn’t just me,” Jung-Tae Kim, chairman of the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia Panel of Raters, remarks. “Seventy-two judges agreed that Anvaya truly belongs among the top courses in Asia.”
Beyond the greens
Ayala Land Premier (ALP) knows the difference between simply living and living well. At Anvaya Cove, life feels both effortless and grounded in nature.
Spanning 620 hectares, it features 17 thoughtfully planned neighborhoods with mid-rise condominiums and expansive residential lots. Each enclave is surrounded by greenery, offering quiet luxury and a deep connection to the land.
Daily rhythms are also shaped by the outdoors. Morning begins on the course, lunches linger by the sea, and afternoons unfold beneath the trees. Members enjoy exclusive access to the Beach and Nature Club, complete with spas and other wellness amenities.
“Anvaya means family in Sanskrit, and that deep sense of unity, purpose, and pride has guided us every step of the way,” concludes Raymond Bunquin, general manager of Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club. “Our customers are at the heart of it all. Everything we do is driven by the desire to serve them better.”
Whether for the weekend or for good, Anvaya Cove invites you to slow down and live with intention.
