Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort, otherwise known as SETIR is where freedom begins: the freedom to explore, the freedom to reconnect with yourself and with your loved ones, and the freedom to rejuvenate and recharge. In fact, it is paradise home to many — marine biodiversity, aquamarine waters, exceptional Filipino hospitality, wide variety of activities and dining options impress our guests every single time. It is nestled in the pristine blue waters of the Calamian Islands in Northern Palawan, which is a 30-minute private speed boat transfer from the Coron Town Proper.
It is one of the largest privately-owned island resorts in the region with 18 hectares of lush hills, beaches and 99 “Maldives-esque” stand-alone villas, in which 10 have the famous glass bottom floors, where you witness rich marine life — corals, schools of fish, and others, just by looking down from your bedroom. All 99 villas are strategically designed to have the ocean view and is unlikely to miss sunrise and sunset.
Sunlight Hotels and Resorts Group believes in offering a total customer experience, which is why not only do we provide exceptional Filipino hospitality, but our guests also have an extensive array of resort amenities to choose from—the Sanctuary Spa; 9 restaurants serving international cuisines; a fitness gym with a view; a dive shop with licensed dive instructors; a contemporary-chic, all-Filipino boutique shop; a signature SETIR tour; and a wide range of water activities such as Kayak, Jet Ski, Aqua Jet, Hydrobob and more.
You may opt to take any commercial airline that flies from Manila, Cebu, Angeles City, El Nido, Puerto Princesa or Boracay to Francisco B. Reyes Airport in Busuanga. Your vacation begins the moment you land. A Sunlight staff will welcome you at the airport to drive you to a private port at Sunlight Guest Hotel, Coron. You will ride a speed boat from there to make your way to SETIR.
