Japan has long been known for the elegance of its cultural traditions, its refined minimalist aesthetic which has spilled over into different aspects of everyday life, and its constant drive for technological innovation. For the privileged few who will own units at The Seasons Residences, Federal Land’s currently-rising residential development in Bonifacio Global City, this mix of tradition and innovation will bring luxurious comfort into their homes in the near future thanks to INAX of Lixil Philippines.
The Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corporation (SFNBRDC), a joint venture between Federal Land Inc. and leading Japanese infrastructure and development firms Nomura Real Estate Development Company Ltd. and Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd., recently went into partnership with INAX of Lixil Philippines. The partnership was formalized at a contract signing held last Feb. 19 at The Seasons showroom in North BGC.
According to SFNBRDC president Catherine Ko, “This partnership aims to provide the residents of The Seasons with a Japanese-inspired lifestyle experience through impeccable innovations that are expected to elevate the standards of comfort, convenience, and functionality.”
This strategic partnership will entail the installation of INAX’s state-of-the-art bathroom fixtures in three of The Seasons’ residential towers, namely Natsu (Summer), Aki (Fall), and Fuyu (Winter). These unique fixtures include the brand’s flagship product, a specialized toilet called the spalet.
Its name a portmanteau of “spa” and “toilet,” INAX’s spalets were designed to provide exceptional comfort for users. Its features include a scratchproof self-cleaning surface made possible by the use of the brand’s proprietary Aqua Ceramic technology, Air-Shield deodorizer and Room Refresh functions to eliminate unpleasant odors, as well as an easy-to-use hands-free remote control.
“We are excited to deliver a distinctive cutting-edge Japanese shower-toilet to The Seasons Residences,” Lixil Philippines general manager Alpha Ang stated during the event. “We share the vision of the developer to build homes of excellent quality inspired by the best aspects of Japan and the Philippines. We look forward to enhancing the residential units with the installation of our automated and manual spalets, both of which ensure hands-free and hygienic bathroom practices.”
Aside from the INAX spalets, other innovations that set The Seasons apart from other upscale residential developments include an advanced building damper system to minimize structural impact during earthquakes, smart storage solutions that include cabinet units built into the kitchen floors, as well as a sunken-slab drainage system beneath unit floors to make pipe maintenance easier and more manageable. All of these will ensure that those moving into any of the development’s four towers will enjoy inspired urban living with a uniquely Japanese touch.
