With a touch of golden splendor and modern sophistication, Aurelia in BGC offers a world-class home for those with discerning tastes.
Set to rise in Bonifacio Global City is a residential development that is expected to redefine what it means to live in a beautifully designed environment specifically created with leisurely sophistication in mind.
Considered a great example of 21st-century architecture and design, the Aurelia Residences is a collaborative venture between Shang Properties Inc. and Robinsons Land. The property takes its name from the Latin word for gold: aurum. Aurelia is also a name that echoes through history, as that was the name of Julius Caesar’s mother.
According to Wilfred Woo, executive director of Shang Properties and vice-chairman of Shang Robinsons Properties Inc., the new development will epitomize luxurious living in the modern context. “We are bringing an unprecedented brand of elegance and luxury,” he says of The Aurelia. “Our vision is to offer effortlessly elegant living within an urban landscape, especially one that is as fast-paced as what we have here in BGC.”
The Aurelia will occupy a total land area of 9,118 sqm. and will feature three graceful residential towers set upon an expansive podium, which will house a number of exquisite amenities for residents and their guests. Seen from above, the towers form a trefoil shape, calling to mind the laurel leaves worn by Roman emperors and persons of distinction. With the towers at 51, 53 and 55 stories high, residents are assured of a magnificent view of the city and its surrounding environment below. The overall structure is the result of a considered collaboration between architect Brian Lee of the Chicago-based firm Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) and Francesca Muzo, founder of the Italian architectural and design company FM Architettura d’Interni.
While it certainly is a high-rise development, The Aurelia is also a low-density one in the sense that there are only 280 expertly designed units distributed among the three towers. Each of these units was designed with the Italian concept of sprezzatura — understated elegance — in mind, with high ceilings, wide spaces for relaxing and entertaining, unencumbered views, and ample storage space for those who want to experience exquisite comfort even in the heart of the bustling metropolis.
At ground level, approximately 5,000 sqm. are devoted to amenities designed for leisure, wellness and entertaining. Along with a resort-style pool and deck area, residents can host functions for family and friends at any of the well-appointed function rooms and lounges. There are also indoor and outdoor playgrounds where children can enjoy themselves regardless of the weather, as well as a home cinema and a properly equipped gymnasium.
Slated to open its doors to residents by 2023, The Aurelia Residences goes beyond the standard offerings of many residential developments by offering a golden experience of truly elegant living.
