SMDC Nature has broken ground on the Parkville Bridge, the primary access point connecting the 52-hectare Parkville development to Burgos Avenue in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City. Designed as a four-lane roadway, the bridge will serve as the main gateway to the township, reinforcing the project’s long-term circulation and access plans.
Parkville is located near the Burgos–Negros Occidental Economic Highway, providing direct connectivity to both the northern and southern parts of the city. From its early planning stages, the development was positioned to grow at a measured pace, aligning infrastructure, open spaces, and residential areas. The bridge plays a central role in this approach by channeling traffic efficiently from the highway while keeping internal roads more conducive to residential use.

Sized to accommodate the needs of more than 2,300 future residents, the bridge is designed for long-term demand. Its elevated structure addresses flood risks, while its engineering specifications consider seismic conditions, supporting the project’s emphasis on durability and resilience.
Architectural and landscape elements integrate the bridge into the overall Parkville environment, with design details that reflect nearby facilities and the use of native greenery to support sustainability and low maintenance. With the bridge now underway, Parkville moves from planning to implementation, setting the foundation for further development anchored on accessibility, resilience, and livability.
