BANGKOK, Thailand — The 20th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final concluded the 2025 awards series by recognizing outstanding real estate achievements across the region, honoring developers, developments, and designs shaping Asia’s future cities.
Held at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, the Grand Final marked two decades of the awards program, culminating a year-long journey across 13 property markets. More than 90 “Best in Asia” honors were conferred, celebrating excellence in development, design, sustainability, and long-term value creation. Finalists were selected from winners of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards ceremonies held throughout the region.
Hong Kong-based Henderson Land Development Company Limited received the coveted Best Developer (Asia) title. Its ultra-luxury project The Legacy – 8 Castle Road, Mid Levels, a joint venture with New World Development Company Limited, achieved a double win in development and design categories.
Malaysia emerged as the top-performing country with 17 Best in Asia wins, led by JLand Group as Best Industrial Developer (Asia), alongside honors for MTD Properties and Faire Development. Indonesia followed with 15 wins, including Best Township Developer (Asia) for Paramount Land and multiple recognitions for Sinar Mas Land, while Vietnam secured 14 awards, led by CapitaLand Development (Vietnam) and Gamuda Land Vietnam.
Singapore developers earned 11 wins, including Best Residential Developer (Asia) for UOL Group Limited, while Philippine developers captured 10 Best in Asia titles. Robinsons Land led the country’s performance with four wins, including Best Luxury Developer (Asia), alongside honors for Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, RLC Residences, Aboitiz Economic Estates, Aboitiz Land, and FIESTA Communities—highlighting the Philippines’ growing presence across luxury, hospitality, industrial, and housing categories.
Additional Best in Asia honors were awarded to developers and designers from Thailand, Australia, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East, reflecting the diversity and scale of real estate innovation across the region.
Jules Kay, general manager of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Events, said the milestone edition reflected industry resilience and ambition, noting that this year’s winners showcased developments designed for long-term value, sustainability, and evolving urban lifestyles.
The awards were judged by an independent panel comprising head judges from participating markets, with the process overseen by HLB, the awards’ official supervisor.
