Vertis North welcomed the season with the opening of A Filipino Christmas, transforming the Rain Garden into a vibrant holiday destination glowing with lights, music, and familiar flavors. Running from December 3 to 23, the estate’s central green space becomes a festive escape where families and friends can gather, linger, and enjoy the spirit of the season.
The celebration is mounted in partnership with the Quezon City local government, reinforcing the estate’s role as a community anchor. Guests were greeted by the warm harmonies of Coro Cantabile, whose renditions of Filipino Christmas classics set a nostalgic tone for the evening.

“At Ayala Land, our mission has always been clear: to build places that people love. A Filipino Christmas at Vertis North is a celebration of that mission and a showcase of what thoughtful placemaking, strong partnerships, and community spirit can achieve,” shared John Estacio, Estate Head of Vertis North.

A ceremonial lighting of the Rain Garden marked the highlight of the program. The landscape, washed in color and movement, captured the warmth and familiarity associated with a Filipino Christmas. Asia’s Soul Siren, Nina, closed the program with her signature hits, drawing crowds to stay and soak in the moment beneath the holiday lights.

As the formal program wrapped up, the Rain Garden shifted into a more relaxed setting with food stalls, pop-up shops, and acoustic performances filling the open spaces. Visitors lingered over local fare, browsed gift finds, and enjoyed the estate’s mix of nature and entertainment.

Festivities continue every evening from 6 PM to 10 PM until December 23, offering a welcoming spot for holiday gatherings. Whether seeking comfort food, last-minute gifts, or a quiet walk under twinkling lights, Vertis North adds another reason to look forward to the season.
