Alsons Development and Investment Corporation (Alsons Dev) has announced the appointment of Jolla A. Soriaga as Vice President and General Manager, effective November 1, 2025. She succeeds Eric D. de la Costa, who has retired after 26 years of service with the company.
The leadership transition marks a new chapter for the Davao-based property developer, reflecting its commitment to operational excellence and sustained growth.
Soriaga has been with Alsons Dev for more than 25 years, taking on key roles in business development and operations. She has been instrumental in the successful delivery of the company’s flagship residential and mixed-use projects, including Las Terrazas, Northcrest, Fernwood, Wood Lane, Eden Ridge, and Northtown. Before her promotion, she served as Assistant Vice President for Business Development and Operations. In her new capacity, Soriaga will oversee daily operations, strategic initiatives, and governance across the organization.
Her appointment follows the retirement of Eric D. de la Costa, whose tenure with Alsons Dev began in 1995. Rising from consultant to Vice President and General Manager, de la Costa played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s portfolio with major developments such as Northtown—Alsons Dev’s first township project—along with Nurtura, its mid-cost housing brand, and Avia Estate in Sarangani.
