A new chapter of wellness living opens at Pueblo de Oro’s FiT Park in Batangas

Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO) recently marked a significant milestone with the grand launch of FiT Park, a vibrant new wellness and recreation hub located within its 48-hectare master-planned township, Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar.

Held on May 25, 2025, the launch brought together residents, families, athletes, and guests for a day of health, movement, and community spirit. The development sits beside the 247-hectare Light Industry & Science Park IV—also developed by PDO’s sister company, Science Park of the Philippines—forming part of a larger 295-hectare mixed-use estate seamlessly integrating residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional zones.

FiT Park reflects PDO’s Live-Work-Play-Learn vision for the area, breathing life into a fully integrated township designed to promote purposeful, connected, and wellness-centered living.

Thoughtfully curated amenities

Anchoring the park is a 315-meter Polyplay S jogging track engineered by German brand Polytan, known globally for its Olympic-grade athletic surfaces. With 38% shock absorption, the track offers a safer and more performance-enhancing experience for runners of all levels.

Adding to the park’s dynamic features are 18 outdoor fitness stations grouped into four themed zones by Let’s Play by Shamrock Fitness Equipment. Manufactured to international safety and durability standards, the system supports all-around physical training in a secure outdoor environment.

Celebrating community, fitness, and purpose

The event kicked off with a lively 3-kilometer Fun Run, followed by a Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF) Mini Obstacle Race Demonstration featuring national athletes. Local families and fitness enthusiasts gathered to cheer on participants, with awards presented to the Top 10 Fun Run finishers.

Distinguished guests, including Department of Agriculture Secretary Francis Tiu Laurel, Jr. and POSF President Atty. Alberto Agra, also attended the program to support the community’s growing wellness movement.

“FiT Park is more than a fitness destination—it is a symbol of our shared commitment to healthier lifestyles, community well-being, and inclusive township living,” said Guillermo D. Luchangco, Chairman and CEO of Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation.

Designed for all generations

FiT Park was thoughtfully created with every member of the community in mind—from seasoned athletes to beginners, from children to seniors. As part of this inclusive vision, The Abba’s Orchard Montessori School, located within the township, is incorporating FiT Park into its official Physical Education curriculum, helping instill healthy habits in students from an early age.

With the launch of FiT Park, Pueblo de Oro brings its township vision full circle, establishing a holistic environment where wellness, education, recreation, and community thrive in harmony.
