Lucia Mall made May a memorable month for mallgoers with a variety of fun activities and engaging events.
It was a great time for families to gather and enjoy all that the mall—one of Rizal Province’s most prominent shopping centers—had to offer.
Creative Mother’s Day celebration

Mother’s Day was celebrated in a unique and artistic way.
Sta. Lucia Mall hosted a “Creative Tote: A Mother’s Day Special” program on the ground floor of its third building. On a busy Sunday afternoon, participants of all ages delighted in hand-painting plain tote bags as a way to express their appreciation for their mothers.
Participation required a single or accumulated receipt(s) totaling at least P500 from any Sta. Lucia Mall tenant. Thirty participants created and proudly displayed their masterfully designed tote bags—keepsakes to be treasured for years to come.
This event was a collaboration between Sta. Lucia Mall and Madrid at Sta. Lucia Residenze.
The 34th anniversary sale
From May 16 to 18, Sta. Lucia Mall celebrated its 34th anniversary with a mall-wide sale.
Customers enjoyed significant savings with discounts up to 50% on various products. This was a perfect opportunity to stock up on supplies for home, work, and school, especially with the rainy season approaching.
The three-day sale provided a wonderful weekend getaway for families.
Queen Sagalahan

May wouldn’t be complete without the Flores de Mayo festival and its annual Santacruzan.
Sta. Lucia Mall’s well-known annual Queen Sagalahan event featured members of the LGBTQIA+ community in a vibrant parade at the Entertainment Center on May 18. The “queens” showcased extravagant outfits inspired by the Santacruzan’s titular queens, including Reyna Elena (Helena of Constantinople), portrayed by Ms. Gretess Cunanan, the reigning Queen of the East 2024.
The parade, accompanied by a lively marching band and escorts, culminated in an awards ceremony where judges selected and presented prizes to the outstanding queens.
Upcoming events

Sta. Lucia Mall has exciting events planned for the coming months!
Applications are now open for the “Get Up and Dance” competition, featuring hip-hop dance troupes. Aspiring young models are also invited to sign up for the annual Generation East Model Search 2025, beginning later this year.

May at Sta. Lucia Mall was a resounding success, filled with community engagement, festive celebrations, and exciting shopping opportunities. With even more events on the horizon, Sta. Lucia Mall continues to be a vibrant hub for the Rizal Province community.
