Makati leads the charge: Home to the Philippines’ largest EV Charging Network

Makati, long recognized as the country’s hub for innovation and sustainability, is once again breaking new ground—this time in the realm of green mobility. In a landmark initiative led by Ayala Land, AC Mobility, the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA), and the local government, the city has officially launched the Philippines’ most extensive electric vehicle (EV) charging network.

Spanning 16 prime locations with 70 charge points—and plans to expand to over 100 charge points in 22 sites—Makati is now the first city in the country to deploy a charging infrastructure of this scale. Notably, it is also the first to introduce super-fast EV chargers, setting a new benchmark for convenience and innovation in urban mobility.

The EV charging stations are thoughtfully positioned across Makati’s key commercial, business, and residential districts. From iconic destinations such as One Ayala, Greenbelt, Glorietta, and Tower One, to high-traffic car parks in Valero, Dela Rosa, and Corinthian, users will have convenient access to the infrastructure that makes electric mobility a practical everyday choice.

This transformative move is part of Makati’s larger vision to become a future-ready city—where clean energy, smart infrastructure, and inclusive growth intersect. The initiative also reinforces Ayala Land and AC Mobility’s shared commitment to sustainable urban development and meaningful climate action.

By championing the integration of EV infrastructure in daily life, Makati not only empowers eco-conscious commuters but also positions itself as the city of choice for forward-thinking residents, businesses, and investors.

With the country’s largest EV charging network and pioneering super-fast chargers, Makati is not just adapting to the future—it’s driving it.
