Later in the day, members of the media were treated to a familiarization tour of the Mahogany South site in Tugbok District. They explored the site and experienced the craftsmanship behind the model units. The Loft model, in particular, stood out with its high ceiling, smart layout, and versatility—quickly becoming a crowd favorite for its blend of style and function.
Alsons Dev Assistant Vice President for Business Development and Management Jolla Soriaga shared why the Tugbok District is a strategic location for their expansion, “In Davao, we have a river that separates the south and north areas. The south area, where Tugbok is located, is becoming a nice bedroom community with a lot of schools from pre-school to university. This is important primarily for families, to whom education is a main concern. Commercial and retail establishments are also present. A car dealership also recently opened, and these are indicators that there is a microeconomy in that part of the city. There is also a push from institutions, with the city government also moving there. So, we have to be there!”
