With this in mind and fueled by our commitment to the Filipino builder, we proudly opened our 11th store in Quezon City and 102nd branch nationwide, Do It With Wilcon (DIW), in P. Tuazon, Cubao, Quezon City, on March 28, 2025.
Cubao is special for many Filipinos. It is not just a bustling commercial hub but a landmark rich in nostalgia and shared experiences. As the old street saying goes, “If you’re lost, just look for Cubao.” For many years, it was the go-to destination for Metro Manila residents for anything to everything they may need – from sports and skating extravaganzas to retail shopping adventures to a veritable trove for anything homeowners and builders may need in creating their dreams
Opening a store in this dynamic district is almost a no-brainer and a much-anticipated event. We are not only strengthening Wilcon Depot’s presence but also ensuring that homeowners, contractors, and designers in Quezon City have direct access to our high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Two branches are now calling Cubao home—our Wilcon Home Essentials in Ali Mall, Araneta Center, and our newly opened Do It Wilcon branch in P. Tuazon. Both are dedicated to better serving the growing needs of our customers.
It is providential and a result of astute business discernment that we are opening our P. Tuazon branch at the same time that Cubao is experiencing a renaissance of sorts. More and more new and dynamic shops are mushrooming in this area. The tastes of the shoppers have metamorphosed from basic to sophisticated. Because of metro trains, the foot traffic is ever-increasing. The level of demand for the newest and premium products for home building continues to soar. Much like the motivation to reach our 100th store last year, this is Wilcon going beyond. This is Wilcon meeting its customers’ needs where they are and when they want it.
This is the “beyond” that logically follows major milestones of entities like our 100th store. As I mentioned when we opened our 100th store, we are triumphant but far from done. In fact, milestones like that only underscore our responsibility and urgency to become even better.
Our journey continues, and I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering trust and support of our customers, partners, and the entire Wilcon family. Every milestone we reach is a testament to the collective dedication, passion, and hard work of the people behind Wilcon.
