Cleofe Albiso
Managing Director, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts

“I believe in PANORAMIC GROWTH—where everyone sees the vision and understands their impact. Each team member grows at their own pace, and it’s vital to nurture both personal and professional development to shape purpose-driven leaders. Growth isn’t a race; it’s a journey.
By leading with empathy and empowerment, we nurture skilled, client-obsessed associates who anticipate the needs of our guests. At the heart of our company is the Circle of Happiness—a culture where everyone feels valued. For me, that’s true innovation: creating an environment where diverse perspectives thrive and people feel confident challenging the status quo. When we lift our people, we elevate the industry.
This mindset carries over into how we empower the next generation. We focus on building MULTI-GENERATIONAL VANGUARDS—leaders of new ideas and developments. Through mutual mentorship, we create space for meaningful dialogue, richer perspectives, and continuous innovation. At MHR, we launched the Next Gen Leadership Council to serve as a springboard for Gen Zs and Millennials—helping them learn from the wisdom of earlier generations while the latter adapt to changing times.
As a woman in a male-dominated space, I understand the importance of having a voice and ensuring it is heard. With the opportunity I’ve been given, my team and I are committed to creating a safe space where everyone is heard, valued, and celebrated.”
Sheila Lobien
CEO Lobien Realty Group

“Although we see many women in real estate—mostly in sales, marketing, and consultancy—only a few reach the highest levels of management. While leadership traits like merit, performance, logic, and strategic thinking are common to both men and women, I believe women often bring a more inclusive and caring leadership style. Women leaders tend to be more attuned to their team’s well-being. During the pandemic, for instance, many women leaders didn’t hesitate to check in on their teams with personal messages—something that may feel awkward for some male counterparts. For us, being firm yet empathetic comes naturally; it’s not always the same for the other sex.
When it comes to innovation, women often seek work-life balance—not just out of preference, but necessity. Society tends to frown upon women who prioritize career over family, and so we learn to balance both. I believe that regardless of gender, some things—like family and personal time—are non-negotiable. That’s why innovation is key. The more streamlined and sustainable our sales, operations, and finance systems are, the more time we have for what matters most. At Lobien Realty Group, we invest in systems that make our operations more efficient and robust, so we can also make space for our personal lives.
I also see my professional career as a contribution to nation-building. That’s why I’ve accepted leadership and mentoring roles—like heading the Women in Business Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce, participating in mentorship programs, and being part of the Women Business Council. These are my ways of giving back and helping build stronger communities.
I want the younger generation to know that nothing is impossible with the right attitude, resilience, and the joy of laboring toward your dreams—even if that means rolling up your sleeves for the most menial tasks. I hope Lobien Realty Group, a company built by like-minded professionals, stands as a platform and example of what’s possible through hard work and strong client relationships. It brings me joy when young people approach me with kind words about our work—I truly hope I’ve inspired them to be better and aim higher, especially in an industry as dynamic and full of opportunity as real estate.”
Atty. Agnes Vst Devanadera
President and CEO of
Clark Development Corporation (CDC)

“My journey into the world of real estate began in childhood, influenced by my father’s passion for dealing with lands and real property. I was still in grade school when I was exposed to how land titles look and what “tie lines” are.
I loved going to the farm even as a child and was always in the company of my parents, supervising our workers to plant, harvest, and more. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for real estate, which stayed with me as I pursued a career in law.
That passion remained even as I became a lawyer. While in law practice, I engaged in real estate brokering and provided interim financing.
As mayor, my interest in lands evolved into planning land use and development. As a lawyer, I enjoyed most doing oral arguments before the Supreme Court on land cases. Now, as President and CEO of Clark Development Corporation (CDC), I am passionately involved in planning and implementing development in the area—to create and recreate a place where we can live, work, and play.
Our leadership ensures Clark is not just an investment hub but a place where work, life, and leisure harmoniously coexist. This holistic view is essential for fostering a vibrant community.
From a woman’s perspective, leadership is both nurturing and strategic. Just as a mother builds a home with care and foresight, I aim to create an environment where industries, investors, and residents thrive. This involves championing policies for sustainable growth, enhancing quality of life, and making Clark an ideal destination for businesses and families.
Empowerment for women means translating their strength into service for their families and communities, and actively participating in organizational growth. This is true empowerment. By leveraging my platform, I aim to inspire and empower other women in the industry—demonstrating that leadership is about service and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
Ultimately, I encourage all women in real estate to embrace their unique perspectives and strengths. Together, we can build more inclusive, thriving communities. Let’s lead with vision, nurture with care, and inspire the next generation of women leaders.”
Cyndy Jarabata
CEO/President TAJARA Hospitality,
Chairperson of the Philippine PropertyGuru Awards

“I’ve always viewed leadership as an opportunity to foster inclusivity, inspire creativity, and build collaborative teams that shape hotels, resorts, and inspiring destinations across the country. Hospitality real estate is a thriving industry that not only delivers exceptional guest experiences—it also creates jobs, provides livelihoods, and uplifts communities.
As the first female Chairperson of the Independent Panel of Judges for the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, I take great pride in being part of a process that recognizes the country’s best developments based on merit. The Awards celebrate innovation and sustainability, and over the years, it’s been rewarding to witness more talented women judges joining the panel and contributing to its success.
This role continues to fuel my passion for creating a stronger sense of community within the real estate industry. Leadership, for me, means empowering others—particularly those who have historically been underrepresented. Recognizing women like Lourdes Josephine Gotianun Yap of Filinvest Land, Inc., who was named Real Estate Personality of the Year, and Mariana Beatriz Zobel de Ayala of Ayala Land, Inc., awarded the Rising Star title, reminds me of how far we’ve come. Celebrating their achievements motivates me to continue advocating for future generations of women in real estate.
Leadership is not just about having a clear vision for growth—it’s about ensuring that others are given the platform and support they need to succeed. Throughout my career, I’ve made it a priority to uplift women in hospitality and real estate, whether through mentorship, creating new opportunities, or using my position to amplify their voices. I’m honored to be part of the Power Women honorees of the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit, alongside inspiring leaders like Jessica Bianca Sy of SMDC, who are making a significant impact on the industry.
Using my platform, I hope to encourage more women to break through societal barriers and lead with confidence. Sharing the stories of successful women inspires others to step into leadership roles. As more women rise through the ranks, it’s essential that we create an environment where we celebrate each other’s success and support one another on our professional journeys. Through collaboration and mentorship, we can build a more inclusive industry—one that reflects the diverse communities we serve and empowers women to lead with lasting impact.”
