The Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) is set to transform the local design landscape once again with Interior + Design Manila 2025. Now in its third year, this annual event continues to position the Philippines as a global leader in the design industry.
A collaboration between Global-Link, the Chamber of Furniture Industries in the Philippines, and PIID, Interior + Design Manila 2025 aims to elevate the trade fair experience and showcase the next generation of interior design in the Philippines. With a focus on innovation and creativity, the fair serves as a platform to not only highlight exceptional design, but to offer a glimpse into the future of interior design as well.

As a key partner in this groundbreaking event, PIID bridges generations of designers, artisans, and brands to foster a thriving, innovative industry. The organization provides a vital space for these industries to converge, exchange ideas, and push creative boundaries. “Interior + Design Manila 2025 is more than just a trade fair—it is a testament to the Philippines’ dynamic and evolving design landscape. This event serves as a catalyst for creative collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what Filipino design can achieve on the global stage,” says PIID President Paolo Castro.

Under the theme “Neue Wave,” this year’s Interior + Design Manila highlights a new era in Philippine interior design—where tradition and technology converge. The event explores how designers today can embrace new technologies and aesthetics without forgetting the rich heritage that defines Filipino culture.

The three-day event is headlined by the PhilippineInternational Furniture Show (PIFS) Exhibit, where the finest local furniture, design, and craftsmanship took center stage. The exhibition featured a curated selection of bespoke furniture, handcrafted accessories, modern lighting solutions, and sustainable innovations—all reflective of the Philippines’ diverse artistic and cultural heritage.

Beyond showcasing craftsmanship, Interior + Design Manila 2025 offered visitors interactive exhibits, live artisan demonstrations, and a series of insightful talks and panel discussions were also led by renowned industry figures, discussing topics like the future of sustainable interior design and integrating artificial intelligence into spaces.

Marking PIID’s 10th year run of its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Symposium that brings in more than 200 designers into the show marks a significant milestone in the advancement of the Interior Design Practice. Themed ‘Designing the Archipelago’, the Symposium provided a strategic platform aimed at empowering designers, promoting industry collaborations and enriching the discourse on design in the Philippines.

Featuring design leaders Milo Naval, Ar. Royal Pineda, IDr. Nina Sta. Maria, Lieza Bituin and Francis Dravigny, the symposium was able to unpack the myriad ways in which Filipino culture, traditions, and natural resources inspire and dictate the aesthetics of spaces throughout our archipelago, highlighting the profound influence of regional diversity on design and the pivotal role this plays in national identity and community development and thus fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of Philippine design.

An embodiment of PIID’s commitment to foster professional growth of its licensed Interior designers while elevating the standards of design across the nation, the collaboration with Interior + Design Manila 2025 features curated special settings showcasing a display of works by emerging designers and a special pavilion on PIID’s 60th Anniversary, highlighting the institute’s commitment to design excellence, craftsmanship, and the development of the interior design industry, underscoring PIID’s rich history and forward-thinking vision, cementing the organization as the leading authority in the Philippine interior design landscape while celebrating the country’s artistic diversity.
