With two major townships being built in Palawan, Megaworld is now one of the biggest property investors in this side of the country.
The company is simultaneously developing the 462-hectare Paragua Coastown in San Vicente and the six-hectare Baytown Palawan in Puerto Princesa City.
The property giant is spending almost P50-billion to build the two developments, which are envisioned to be major drivers for tourism in the province.
Paragua Coastown
The biggest township development of Megaworld in Palawan is Paragua Coastown – a 462-hectare eco-tourism township located along the coastline of San Vicente, home to the longest white sand beach in the country.

Located within a few minutes away from the San Vicente Airport, which serves regular flights to and from Manila and Clark, the township will be home to two new hotels that Megaworld is currently constructing. These are the Savoy Hotel Palawan with 306 rooms, and the Paragua Sands Hotel with 313 rooms.

The company also started construction of its residential properties in Paragua Coastown including Oceanfront Premier Residences, Megaworld’s first beachside condominium in San Vicente offering ‘smart home’ units, and the Paragua Beach Village, a 16-hectare gated residential village.

Construction is also underway for the Mercato Shophouse District and Porto Hotel District in Paragua Coastown, which offers shophouses and boutique lots for those who want to operate business inside the eco-tourism township.

Baytown Palawan
Also being simultaneously developed in Palawan is Baytown Palawan. This six-hectare lifestyle estate aims to bring Forbes Town in BGC right at the heart of Palawan’s capital city, Puerto Princesa.

Strategically located along Puerto Princesa South Road with views of Puerto Princesa Bay, this mixed-use development is being developed by Megaworld and its subsidiary Suntrust Properties, Inc., and features residential condominiums, commercial areas, as well as a new hotel.

Megaworld is also constructing The Bellagio Palawan, a 12-story upscale residential condominium offering condominium units equipped with smart home technology,
Just recently, Suntrust Properties launched its first residential project – the Sonrisa Gardens, a three tower residential cluster surrounded by lush gardens and open spaces.
