For decades, Sta. Lucia Land has been at the forefront of golf course development in the Philippines, crafting world-class fairways that have become home to prestigious tournaments and vibrant golf communities. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, the company has collaborated with top golfers and renowned course designers to create championship-caliber greens that continue to elevate the country’s golf tourism industry.
“We believe that our move to create and develop world-class golf communities allowed us to strengthen our presence in the market. As one of the pioneers, we’ve managed to build the most number of golf communities that many enthusiasts continue to enjoy. These communities proved to be a valuable investment especially during the pandemic,” said Sta. Lucia Land President Exequiel Robles.

One of Sta. Lucia Land’s standout developments is The Orchard Golf & Country Club in Cavite, a masterfully designed golf community featuring two 18-hole championship courses designed by golf legends Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Having hosted international tournaments, including the 1995 Johnnie Walker Classic, The Orchard remains one of the country’s premier golfing destinations.
Another notable project is Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club, also in Cavite, which boasts four championship courses designed by golf greats Isao Aoki, Nick Faldo, Andy Dye, and Greg Norman. With its diverse layouts and challenging fairways, Eagle Ridge has established itself as one of Asia’s largest golfing enclaves, attracting both seasoned players and enthusiasts.

Further south, in Mindanao, South Pacific Golf Club is the latest addition to the list of golfing facilities developed by Sta. Lucia. This project features an 18-hole, Arnold Palmer-designed golf course spanning 70 hectares of rolling greens.
“We have made it our mission to develop golf courses that will continue to challenge and excite golfers for both beginners and veterans. I am proud to say that up until now, our developments remain to be a top choice for golfers and a preferred venue for tournaments. We really want to continuously promote golf in the country and find ways to strengthen our presence in the global scene,” Robles added.
Meanwhile, beyond its impressive portfolio, Sta. Lucia Land indeed continues to shape the future of Philippine golf with various programs.

Recently, Sta. Lucia Land Inc. (SLLI) Chairman Vicente R. Santos, together with Pinewoods & Lakewood Golf Club General Manager, Tom B. Clemente III, Beverly Place and South Pacific Golf Club General Manager Elson B. Alvaran, and Orchard Director of Golf, Francis Montallana, forged a tie-up with Golf-Mix, Inc., a golf events organizer, in organizing golf tournaments for teens called Teens Tour by Sta. Lucia.
“I have made it my mission to conduct tournaments and golf training among club member’s dependents, club employees and caddies with the help of the different Board of Directors and General Managers of our various golf clubs. I believe such programs would help us further promote the growth of the game in the country,” Santos said.
He added, “We even have clubs who waive green fees for junior golfers while others have Women’s Day wherein female golfers only have to pay for their golf carts and other minor fees.”
With its deep-rooted expertise, visionary leadership, and an ever-growing roster of premier golf developments, Sta. Lucia Land remains a driving force behind the Philippines’ rise as a world-class golf destination—where every fairway tells a story of precision, passion, and prestige.
