Living Innovations proudly unveils the newly renovated Minotti showroom in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The expanded space showcases Minotti’s latest collections, offering timeless designs for both indoor and outdoor use.
Property Report attended the launch and was treated to a tour led by Living Innovations General Manager Ferdie Ong. Ong demonstrated how the curated collections blend traditional and modern design, highlighting Minotti’s commitment to customization that transforms each piece into a personal treasure.
The 2024 Collection takes visitors on a design journey through diverse cultures, showcasing the craftsmanship of masters like Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, Nendo, GamFratesi, Hannes Peer, and Giampiero Tagliaferri. The collection’s eclectic mix harmonizes form and function, reflecting Minotti’s evolving design philosophy.
The showroom’s updated spaces present a dialogue between different eras of Minotti design, allowing visitors to envision how various pieces can fit into their own homes. From outdoor lounges to formal living rooms, each area exemplifies timeless elegance. Ong explained, “We wanted a space that people could imagine living in as their own, mixing different years of Minotti furniture to create a look that transcends time.”
Key features of the revamped showroom include an indoor-outdoor living space that simulates a home garden featuring the 2024 Outdoor Collection. The renovated ceiling echoes the coziness of a Filipino family room, while a more open layout creates a grand living room for showcasing Minotti’s finest pieces. The addition of a new entrance provides easier access for visitors arriving by car or chauffeur.
Minotti and Living Innovations have enjoyed a 22-year partnership, rooted in shared values of quality and craftsmanship. Ong’s journey with the brand began at the Salone del Mobile in 2002, where he discovered Minotti and its potential for the Philippine market. The partnership has since flourished, with the Bonifacio Global City showroom’s launch in 2014 expanding Minotti’s reach to a discerning Filipino audience.
The appeal of Minotti’s designs lies in their enduring versatility. Ong noted, “A sofa from 2024 can still match a table from 2005, allowing clients to build their collection over time.” This adaptability, combined with superior quality, ensures Minotti pieces remain functional and stylish for decades. “The first sofas we delivered over 20 years ago have not needed reupholstery,” Ong added.
The growing trend of entertaining at home has further elevated Minotti’s relevance. Through its seamless blend of form and function, Minotti’s furniture creates spaces that inspire interaction and storytelling. Highlights of the new collection include the Yves sofa, ideal for spacious Filipino living rooms, and the Supermoon sofa, a striking piece for smaller spaces. The Nico table, with its marble and wood combination, offers understated elegance.
Living Innovations also ensures a personalized experience for clients. Ong emphasized, “We have a team of interior designers and architects who can help create a space tailored to your preferences. Alternatively, we can work with your designer to finalize configurations, fabrics, and finishes.”
Ultimately, the renovated Minotti Manila showroom stands as a testament to Living Innovations’ commitment to bringing world-class design to Filipino homes. Ong concluded, “When clients visit, we tell them the story of the Minotti lifestyle, helping them build their own home’s story.”
