Celebrate the magic of Christmas in Alabang as Filinvest City proudly unveils its newest landmark, The Tree Events Stage, during its much-awaited annual tree lighting ceremony at Central Park on Thursday, November 28. This grand event marked the start of the holiday season with a vibrant showcase of lights, music, and community togetherness.
The evening opened with a rousing welcome from Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon, addressing an enthusiastic crowd. Joining the festivities were the Gotianun family, Filinvest City stakeholders, and honored guests. The highlight of the evening was the simultaneous unveiling of The Tree Events Stage and the lighting of the magnificent 42-foot Christmas tree, dazzling with life-sized ornaments and regal reindeer.
As the night sky erupted in a breathtaking fireworks display, the audience was serenaded by Richard Poon, the Philippines’ crooner, who set the mood with his soulful renditions of Christmas classics.

The centerpiece of this year’s festivities, The Tree Events Stage, is an architectural masterpiece that combines function and elegance. Designed to echo the graceful curves of tree branches, its organic form features curvilinear columns cloaked in tensile fabric. More than just a performance space, The Tree stands as a symbol of unity and celebration, positioning itself as a premier venue for concerts, cultural showcases, and community events.
What makes The Tree truly remarkable is its state-of-the-art dynamic lighting system, which transforms it into a radiant canvas for artistic light projections, creating a mesmerizing visual experience, especially after dark. Its innovative design also reflects Filinvest City’s dedication to sustainability, blending seamlessly with Central Park’s verdant environment.
Cherish Every Moment: Festive Activities for All
Filinvest City’s holiday theme, “Cherish Every Moment of Christmas,” solidifies its reputation as the ultimate holiday destination in the southern metro, offering something for everyone in the family.
Starting November 29, The Tree Stage will host an exciting series of live performances every Friday until December 20, featuring top OPM artists. Kicking off the festivities is pop-alternative band Over October on November 29, followed by singer-songwriter BLASTER on December 13, and the soulful makata-pop band Munimuni on December 20. Each Friday performance culminates with a dazzling fireworks display at 8 PM.
Saturday nights from November 30 to December 21 will spotlight local musical acts, while Sundays from December 1 to December 22 will feature a delightful Meet and Greet with Santa Claus.
Visitors can also enjoy bike rentals and a variety of culinary delights at Eats by the Park, open Friday to Sunday from 4 PM onwards.
A Season of Light and Joy
Central Park’s enchanting holiday displays, including a captivating tunnel of lights and picture-perfect decorations, will illuminate the evenings from 6 to 10 PM until January 6, 2025. These scenic attractions provide the ideal backdrop for families and friends to create cherished memories.
