In 2007, the Philippine government declared LPPCHEA as a critical habitat as it houses important bird habitats such as mangroves, beach forests lagoons, and mudflats.

Moreover, Las Piñas also features several garden venues where you can host outdoor events. Some of the popular venues include the Lavides Garden and the Palazzo Verde.

Accessibility

While Las Piñas offers residents a laid-back suburban lifestyle, its strategic location makes it easy to travel to business centers in Metro Manila. Residents can take the Alabang-Zapote Road which will connect them to the Skyway, while those living on the western side of the city can take the MCX.

On top of this, Las Piñas also in proximity to the cities of Parañaque and Muntinlupa, resulting in shorter travel times for those traveling to these cities.

As Las Piñas City is located south of Metro Manila it also serves as a gateway to the Calabarzon (Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon) region, giving residents the option to go for a quick out-of-town trip when they need a change of scenery.

Less congested roads

While Las Piñas is part of Metro Manila, it is less congested compared to busier cities like Makati or Taguig City. The city takes convenience a step further with its Friendship Route offered to residents which gives registered residents access to various alternative routes to avoid traffic on the main roads.
