Dasmariñas also ranked 6th in the CMCI’s infrastructure indicator, driven by its 2nd rank in the LGU investment sub-indicator.
The city also ranked 4th in the road network sub-indicator. This is proof of the easy access it offers to major thoroughfares such as the South Luzon Expressway and Cavite-Laguna Expressway as well as the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.
Additionally, the city’s relatively close proximity to Metro Manila is another draw to its strategic location.
University Capital of Cavite
Dasmariñas City is known as the University Capital of Cavite due to the number of tertiary educational institutions it houses.
Among the prestigious universities in the city are De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, National University Dasmarinas, Emilio Aguinaldo College- Cavite, Technological University of the Philippines – Cavite and Philippine Christian University – Cavite to name a few.

In its latest Residential Property Report, Colliers Philippines said it has observed steady demand for house-and lot (H&L) and lot-only projects in key areas outside of Metro Manila including Cavite, Pampanga, Bulacan, Laguna, and Batangas.
“From 2022 to 2023, we recorded the annual average take-up for horizontal projects in these areas reaching 29,000 units, up from the 28,700 average units sold from 2020 to 2021. Colliers believes that developers will continue to venture into horizontal residential projects outside of Metro Manila where demand comes from end-users,” Colliers said.
Developers have also taken notice of the Dasmariñas market as seen in the rise of residential projects in the city.
