Quezon City remained the top searched city by property seekers in the first quarter of the year, according to online property portal Lamudi Philippines.
In its latest The Outlook quarterly report, Lamudi said that Quezon City was the most searched city not just in Metro Manila but in the entire country in the first three months of the year as it received leads by a wide margin.
“In Q1 2021, the city attracted almost the same number of leads from Pasig, Parañaque and Taguig combined,”Lamudi said.
Lamudi earlier cited Quezon City as the most in-demand real estate location on its property listing portal last year, as it registered 12.76 percent of total page views in 2020.
Following Quezon City, Makati City was the second most searched city in the country in the first quarter of 2021.
Also in the top five searched cities are Pasig, Parañaque and Taguig.
Meanwhile, Lamudi data also showed that Antipolo was the most searched city outside of Metro Manila within Luzon.
This was followed by Santa Rosa, Bacoor, Tagaytay and Calamba, all of which are in the CALABARZON region.
For the Visayas region, Cebu City was the most searched city, followed by Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Talisay and Bacolod.
Lamudi said Davao City emerged as the top searched location in the Mindanao region, followed by Cagayan de Oro, Balingasag, General Santos, Zamboanga and Koronadal.
Moreover, the Lamudi report also identified Quezon City as the city with the most searches from overseas property seekers.
This was followed by the cities of Makati, Taguig, Cebu and Parañaque.
The Lamudi report also highlighted that leads for purchase listings outweighed that for rental listings in the first quarter of the year.
“Leads for properties to purchase in Luzon had the highest growth, while leads for properties to rent had the highest growth in Mindanao,”Lamudi said.
