Leechiu Property Consultants (LPC) is gearing up for further growth amid rosy prospects on the future of the Philippine real estate industry.
LPC also foresees that with the return of international travel, with major players in international tourism seen flocking to the country.
The Philippines’ unmatched natural attractions have now been made more accessible through new international airports, it said.
Thus, the country will likely remain a major global market with the return of business confidence and unhampered mobility.
With this optimistic view, LPC announced the promotion of four key personnel in its brokerage, advisory, and consultancy business.
The move is in anticipation of the real estate industry’s recovery as evidenced by milestone transactions including a record-breaking property sale negotiated by LPC in Bonifacio Global City last December and by increases in office and residential take-up in the last two quarters.
New leaders
Mikko Barranda and Miguel Manipol were announced as the new directors for commercial leasing, while both Tam Angel and Alvin Magat were named directors for investment sales. Magat joins Barranda, Manipol, and Angel as the newest member of the management committee.
Multifaceted executives
Magat is a certified public accountant with more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation with a specialization in the property sector and other related businesses.
While representing LPC, he has sold more than 86,000 sqm. amounting to a total value of $173 million. Prior to his current role in LPC, he was the Philippine finance head and controller for one of the largest property consulting firms globally. He also served as the chief accountant for one of the Philippines’ largest developers.
Tam Angel Alvin Magat
In Barranda’s nearly 12 years in the industry, he has skillfully advised tenants, property owners, and investors. He also serves as a board member of the Urban Land Institute Philippines, chair of real-estate of the Fintech Philippines Association, co-chair of the European Chamber of Commerce- Real-Estate Committee, and co- founder of Acceler8—a pioneer coworking space in the country. Included in Barranda’s long list of accomplishments is his indispensable aid in closing deals covering close to 350,000 sqm. of office space.
Manipol is a member of the German Philippine Chamber of Commerce and the Urban Land Institute Philippines. His specialization lies in landlord representation and he has led the exclusive leasing of over 300,000 sqm. of prime and grade A office buildings in both Metro Manila and Cebu. In his 12 years in the industry, Manipol has been part of landmark tenant representation deals of close to 70,000 sqm. of office space for well-known multinational firms.
Specializing in investment sales, deal structuring, and financial analysis, Angel has had 12 years of experience in capital markets and has helped transact real estate property amounting to $1 billion.
