Over 40 hotels and resorts in Cebu are holding an online travel sale, aimed at attracting more domestic tourists to visit the Queen City of the South.
On Tuesday, Cebu tourism stakeholders launched the I Love Cebu online travel fair, which will run from March 21 to April 21, 2021.
This is part of the I Love Cebu campaign, an initiative formed by a group of Department of Tourism (DOT)- accredited hotels, resorts, tour operators, and travel agents promoting Cebu as a destination.

In addition, tour operators and agents will also be offering deals during the online sale. Vouchers are to be sold are valid until April 30, 2022 subject to terms and conditions per participating establishment.
The online travel sale is targeted to help Cebu tourism stakeholders jumpstart the recovery process of its industry, which was badly hit by the pandemic due to various travel restrictions.
“Be a responsible traveler. Always remember the minimum public health safety standards. Frequent washing of hands, wearing of facemask, observing social distancing, and proper sneezing or coughing etiquette. Do not forget to check and get the travel requirements of your onward destination to avoid hassle and problems in travel,” Cebu tourism stakeholders said.
