I-Land to build green projects in key locations

This is reason I-Land, the real estate arm of ISOC Holdings, Inc., is aggressively taking into account sustainability in pursuing projects that not only address the demands for habitable spaces in key areas, but also care for the environment.

Situated in strategic locations in and around Metro Manila, I-Land’s residential, commercial, and leisure projects focus on using green-inspired designs to come up with sustainable living spaces.

A green-inspired building is one that either eliminates the negative impacts or creates positive impacts on the environment. This can be achieved through efficient of energy and water resources, use of renewable energy, and use of non-toxic materials in construction among other features.

Aside from going green, I-Land looks to construct intelligent buildings that use proven world-class technologies applied to the local setting, such as energy-efficient lighting.

I-Land also focuses on its customers by selecting locations that are close to major roads and establishments for its properties. One of them is I-Land Bay Plaza, located near the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City. The soon-to-rise 25,000 sqm. premium office building will house 12 floors of commercial office and retail spaces and is expected to be built by 1st Quarter of 2021. The project is also close to EDSA and the NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), which connects to the Skyway and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).

Other projects in the pipeline include those in EDSA Cloverleaf area in Quezon City; Makati City; Ortigas Center, Pasig City; and I-Land Clark, Neo a seven-hectare premium integrated resort and leisure complex inside the Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga.

I-Land is backed by an experienced team of experts in the property development industry, espousing operational excellence to provide efficient and cost-effective solutions.

At the forefront is ISOC group chairman Michael Cosiquien, co-founder of Megawide Construction. A licensed civil engineer, Cosiquien started Megawide in 1997 together with business partners and grew it to become a leading infrastructure company in the country with a portfolio that includes the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Two decades later, he went on to establish ISOC Holdings in pursuit of his vision of unlocking potential using innovation and technology. Aside from property development, ISOC has ventures in telecommunications infrastructure, cold chain logistics, and energy.

“Economic growth is important to us, but so is protecting the environment amid climate change. Thus, our mission at I-Land is to promote healthy surroundings, overall well-being in our communities, and ensure environmental stewardship and social responsibility,” Cosiquien said.

“When we factor in the environment in our investment, it becomes more meaningful because of the long-term benefits our stakeholders can reap. This is why from our very first project, we have been fully committed to constructing properties that are sustainable,” he added.
