Ortigas Malls’ Estancia is well-known for its curated selection of dining and retail shops lined up inside chic, expansive buildings to invigorate the malling experience. This holiday season, it sets the bar higher by adding the first-ever Ortigas Cinemas, an SM Store and more shopping and dining options in its newest wing.

The new wing opened its doors to the public last November 29, in a celebration graced by celebrity guest Heart Evangelista-Escudero, SM Prime Holdings chairman of the executive committee Hans Sy, Ayala Corp. chairman and CEO and Ayala Land vice chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Ortigas Land president and CEO Jaime Ysmael and VP – Ortigas Malls Arch. Renee Bacani.

A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara of the Diocese of Pasig. Afterwards, the ribbon-cutting ceremony gathered partners, tenants and other special guests, including Pasig City Administrator Atty. Jeron Manzanero, who greeted the attendees on behalf of Mayor Vico Sotto.

“We are confident that the Estancia expansion will elevate the retail shopping experience of Filipinos, especially nearby residents. We have lined up activities as well to ensure that they could enjoy Christmas festivities in the conveniences of Estancia,” said Ysmael.

Manila String Machine, a quartet band, mesmerized everyone with classic songs and Christmas melodies, while the rest of the afternoon witnessed individual ribbon-cutting celebration of new tenants, including SM Store, Watsons Philippines and Miniso. Another event highlight was the special showing of movies Knives Out and Frozen II for guests to relish the one-of-a-kind Ortigas Cinemas experience.
