DataLand launches DDT Sky Tower

DataLand Inc. officially launched their newest project, the DDT Sky Tower in Quezon City, at the Edsa Shangri-la Hotel last June 20.

The DDT Sky Tower is a 60-story tower designed to serve some of the most successful business process outsourcing (BPO) firms and corporate offices in the country and is expected to be the preferred office address north of Metro Manila.

The tower is set to rise in one of the most strategically and centrally located areas in Quezon City — along EDSA and a mere two-minute walk to the Quezon Avenue MRT station, providing easy access to public transportation, major thoroughfares and some of the city’s premier recreational and leisure centers such as Eton Centris, SM North EDSA, and TriNoma.

RECONFIGURABLE, SUSTAINABLE, COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT, AND ACCESSIBLE

The DDT Sky Tower will have a total office space of 115,000 sqm. — the biggest in the office industry — and will be divided into three zones: the high zone, mid zone and low zone. The high zone will be from the 43rd floor to the 57th, and is expected to have between 12 and 14 units per floor with each unit ranging from 70 to 349 sqm.

The mid zone will be from the 28th to 41st floors with office areas between 93 and 464 sqm. The 16th to 27th floor will be the low zone with 14 units per floor and office areas ranging between 93 and 411 sqm. The office units of the tower are designed to be modular and reconfigurable, depending on the needs of the clients.

Parking will not be a problem as the 3rd to 13th floors are designated parking areas with a combined total of 1,122 parking slots. There are three basement floors available for parking as well, adding a combined total of 312 parking slots. Access to and from the building will be quick and easy too. Two driveways – one on the EDSA side of the tower, and the other at Mother Ignacia Avenue — will be designed to provide easy access to Quezon City’s major thoroughfares, leading to other areas in Metro Manila.

Employees will not have to go far to have their lunch as the entire 14th floor of the tower will occupy DDT Sky Tower’s food court. The view from here will give tenants and visitors an excellent view of Quezon City’s massive skyline. The first and second floors are reserved for the mezzanine and retail shops to provide 24/7 support to the employees in the building.

The DDT Sky Tower is PEZA-accredited and is aiming to be LEED-certified, as waste reduction is part of the tower’s sustainability tenets. Some of the green features include a waste segregation facility, a plumbing system with low-flow and low-flush fixtures, HVAC systems, and low wattage lighting.

The DDT Sky Tower is set to be Quezon City’s iconic landmark that will redefine the office building industry and is DataLand’s first venture into the office space segment.
