Celebrating Filipino craftsmanship at Art of Thread Festival

Through Art of Thread, a special artisan fair dedicated to forward weaving among local industries and small businesses, Eastwood City explores the rich Filipino art of weaving and textiles.

The three-week long festival runs from July 27 to Aug. 19 where guests can visit Art in Thread: Artisan Fair at Eastwood Mall Atrium and stop by the booths of participating merchants, including Katutubong Kamay Handicrafts Co., The Manila Collectibles Co., The House of Macrame PH, Crochet Buffet PH, Akaba Ltd. Design Co., Habi Footwear, Crochet Lovers in the Philippines, Captain Hooked, Art of Gold Inc., Piesa, Farrah Crafts, Handmade by Kat, Hem +, The Crafty Berry, Heira’s, Colores by Kat Musniz, and Wags and Whiskers PH.

Also highlighting the experts of this way of art will also share their time and talent in educating the young and the willing public to learn more about the craft of weaving.
