The south’s premier shopping haven, Acienda Designer Outlet, turned into a lively concert ground as it recently celebrated its first anniversary bash last Oct. 26.
The crowd at Acienda Designer Outlet (ADO) gathered from different parts of the southern region and from Metro Manila to see the biggest names in Pinoy Rock belt it out in a day of fun and great music. Bands like Hale, Join the Club, Lenses, Aoui, Maude, Dante&Amigo, Laluna, the 5th String Band and Up Dharma Down played their best songs to a pumped-up crowd who traveled all the way to Silang in Cavite just to jam.
Everyone who attended the event, shoppers and VIPs of the lifestyle hub from Cathay Land, sang along, clapped and cheered on their favorite artists — all of whom were instrumental in the success of ADO’s first year.
Aside from the outdoor concert, other fun activities also entertained visitors at ADO’s first major event. These included partaking in delicious fares courtesy of vendors from the famous Facebook group Let’s Eat Pare while mimes and clowns entertained everyone on the grounds. Lifestyle brand Vans Shoes, on the other hand, also sponsored a skateboarding clinic for all enthusiasts and beginners of the extreme sport.
“We’re happy with how the event turned out and we’re really glad that people enjoyed not only the shopping but also the activities that we prepared for the first-anniversary celebration of Acienda Designer Outlet. Next year, we’re hoping to treat more people with this kind of event that doesn’t just celebrate the success of our lifestyle stores but also to make sure that we give back to everyone who supported us,” Arman Ilano, Acienda Designer Outlet center director, said during the event.
