Rockwell’s Proscenium Theater opened its doors to a full house for the premiere of A Christmas Carol. From the first notes of Alan Menken’s iconic score to the final bows, the production delighted audiences in a celebration of music and storytelling.
The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge was brought to life by a remarkable ensemble of seasoned theater performers, talented vocalists, and a vibrant young cast whose energy resonated with every scene.
Even for those familiar with the story, the 9Works Theatrical adaptation offered a different retelling of the much-loved classic.
Tiny Tim, portrayed by Enzo Isaac, drew audible reactions from the audience, while the young cast’s heartfelt performances carried through the night. The exchanges between Scrooge, played by Arnel Carrion, and Tiny Tim struck a quiet emotional chord, balanced by the ensemble’s playful humor and spirited choreography that presented familiar scenes in a way that felt new and captivating.
From the bustling streets of Victorian London to the haunting visions of Christmas past, present, and yet to come, the story invited audiences to reflect on their own journeys while enjoying the warmth of the season—leaving them with a reminder that the holidays are best celebrated with loved ones and stories that capture the spirit of Christmas.
