There’s a lot of work that goes into construction. From concept development to actual project execution, building a condominium is not for a weak heart; it takes grit.
For Mosaic Realty and Development Corp. (MRDC)’s Founder and CEO Jardin Wong, Co-founder and COO Jillian Sze, and Co-founder and Director Miguel Tan — all young entrepreneurs — it was pure hard work that gave birth to (and continues to raise) prime residential condominium The Silhouette, MRDC’s maiden project.
“We have that boldness in us,” says Wong. “What we offer is something that’s out of the box and has never been done to elevate Filipino living.”
Although the building still lacks a facade, passersby can recognize the promise of a unique feature from afar — an eye-catching contour of what is set to become a standout feature in San Juan.
‘Promise made, promise delivered’
MRDC is almost done with its 19-story boutique development. Last December 3, the company celebrated The Silhouette’s final beam installment with a topping-off ceremony.
“There were a lot of challenges. When everybody was lying low, we continued to build this project,” Sze looks back at MRDC’s struggle during the pandemic. “This event signifies that we’re halfway through it, and down two years after, we can see it happening.”
San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora was present during the earlier part of the event. The progressive leader has been supportive of the construction since day one, allowing the building to rise seamlessly.
Now, MRDC is excited to move forward with The Silhouette’s architectural and design aspects. This includes the finalization of furniture, cabinetry, and 270-degree wrap-around glass windows.
The young developers are putting action to their promise of finishing the building on time. They hope to attract more interest from the buying public now that it is set for completion by 2025.
Almost ready: A high-end urban residence
MRDC is the first to introduce the “one floor, one unit” concept in the Philippines. The prime condominium boasts elevated luxury living, offering a space truly of your own.
Launched in 2022, The Silhouette allows unit owners to have the utmost privacy while enjoying the beautiful skyline of San Juan.
Each residential floor will provide a 270-square meter space with sophisticated design, a private 12-square meter balcony, and dual access elevators for enhanced privacy. The Silhouette will also have amenities that can rival various five-star hotels. Unit owners can either relax with their families in the lounge area or enjoy the city breeze alone on the sky deck.
“We couldn’t have done it without the collective efforts of our general contractor and, of course, the [concept] of our founders,” Tan shares.
“Although the finish line is still far, we have already hit a significant milestone. This event is a testament to our commitment to the buyers and the market.”
