The ground floor of the Opus Mall at Bridgetowne Destination Estate was a buzz this July 4, as two grand openings took place only an hour from one another. First to take the spotlight was True Value, a name synonymous with quality products, which kicked off its celebration with a burst of confetti and a cascade of coins, welcoming an eager crowd. Shoppers were treated to a unique experience as they zipped through the store on the AirWheel, a motorized suitcase on wheels, while onlookers captured the excitement on video. The store offered enticing deals with discounts of 10%, 20%, and even up to 50% off on nearly every item. Adding to the excitement, a special promotion promised the top spender from July 4-7 a chance to win a Yale Luna PRO+, a digital door lock worth P58,600.
An hour later, The Marketplace, the premium supermarket renowned for its exclusive offerings, launched its grand opening. In a nod to the mall’s namesake, VIPs inaugurated the event by pouring entire bottles of wine into a transparent display of The Marketplace, symbolizing the unity between the VIPs, the mall, and the public. This wine-pouring ceremony also highlighted the opulence of the new store, which boasts the only wine bar inside any Marketplace location. The celebration continued with a lavish buffet featuring delicacies like salami, Gorgonzola, croissants, and macarons. Guests indulged in an entire leg of jamón ibérico and enjoyed premium free-flowing wines, including Montes Alpha and Grant Burge.
A grand opening indeed, but one thing is certain: the Opus Mall awaits to reveal even more surprises in the months to come.
