Bohol hotels and resort to hold online sale

Hotels, resorts and other tourism establishments in Bohol are eyeing to attract more tourists to visit the province, in a bid to help the tourism industry’s recovery.

Bohol tourism stakeholders launched recently the Balik sa Bohol: Bohol Online Sale, which will run from February 21 to March 14, 2021.

“Through the balik sa bohol online sale, we hope to jumpstart the tourism engine of the province,” Bluewater Resorts Vice President for Sales and Marketing Margarita Munsayac said during the launch of the program.

Munsayac said 20 establishments are participating in the online sale. Participants include 13 resorts, one adventure park and six tour operators.

“All the participating establishments have been issued a certificate of authority to operate by the LGU and the Department of Tourism (DOT),” Munsayac said.
 
“We are all ready to welcome you and adhere to the health and safety protocols in place for all our travelers to feel safe and confidence in coming back to Bohol,”she added.

Participating brands are Amarela Resort, Amorita Resort, Be Grand Hotel, Bohol Bee Farm, The Bellevue Resort, Best Western Plus The Ivywall Panglao Resort, Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort, Bohol Beach Club,  Chocolate Hills Adventure Park, The Acacia Glamping, Donatela Resort and Sanctuary, Loboc River Resort, Mithi Resort and Spa, South Palms Resorts Panglao, Angels’ Wings Tours and Travel, Baclayon Travel & Tours, Bohol Holidays Travel & Tours Inc., Coordinates Tours and Travel, and Travel Village while the platform is powered by Atlantis and is co-sponsored by Cebu Pacific Air.

In order to lure tourists back, massive price drops in rooms, food, tours and related services will be offered by resorts, hotels, and tour operators during the Balik sa Bohol: Bohol Online Sale, organized by the private sector and fully supported by the DOT, TPB, and the Provincial Government of Bohol.

Bohol reopened its doors to leisure travelers on December 15.
