5G spreads to more cities

Staying connected online has become a necessity in our everyday lives. Whether it’s to fulfill your work duties, connect with your loved ones or to just get your daily dose of entertainment, the internet has you covered.

This is why efficient access to internet connectivity is now becoming a key factor to look at in choosing a location you want to reside or locate your business in.

Fortunately, there are more options for property seekers who view this as a prime consideration, as more cities across the country are being powered with  improved connectivity offerings.

A testament to this is mobile services provider Smart Communications Inc.’s (Smart) move to further expand the rollout of its 5G network across all Metro Manila cities and in the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, and Pampanga.

Smart said its prepaid and postpaid subscribers can maximize its superfast 5G speeds, ultra-low latency and higher efficiency, as long as they are using Smart-certified 5G devices in areas with Smart 5G coverage in Metro Manila’s 17 cities and municipalities, the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat in Pampanga, Bacoor in Cavite, and Binan and Santa Rosa in Laguna.

“As we ramp-up our Smart 5G rollout across Metro Manila and the rest of the country, we are bringing our customers closer to an even higher level of customer experience in terms of enjoying high-definition video, playing esports and using new digital services,” said Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart Communications President and CEO and PLDT Chief Revenue Officer.

Apart from Metro Manila,Smart also rolled out its 5G services in provincial areas such as Cebu, Boracay, Iloilo, and Davao.
